You ask
and wait
For that moment
when all you’ve asked
comes.
You seek
and still seek
Until all hope
seems to be
gone.
You knock
until your hand
bleeds
you think no one
is home.
But remember
our time is not
His time.
He did pour out
his blessings upon
you.
But you
must be patient
keep praying
keep asking
keep seeking
keep knocking
because when
that time comes
you probably would not notice
until after you’ve finished
smiling.
Then you’d know
that he had answered
not when you wanted
but right
on time.
That’s the Jesus time.
